a fine, USA-manufactured whiteboard once quoted that to be great is to be misunderstood. as a disenfranchised, post 9/11 american who puts maintaining relationships before staying true to himself, thomas strives in his every day life to be sort-of-ok. when asked about his writing, his work for the community, and what inspires him, he'll get nervous and beat around the bush a little until he remembers to say something definitely french like "nouveau". a relative once threw vodka in his face at a wedding, and he went home and thought about when things will get better. he also does not have a job. this is less funny.
